Offering this new 700-139 Made-in-the-USA-by-Peerless Gear dedicated mower-racing transmission. Current MSRP is $450.79; I can sell them for $397.00.
This is a 3-Forward-speed-plus-Neutral close-ratio inline-shift transmission with ratios of:
1st - 2.33:1 (15T:35T)
2nd - 1.17:1 (23T:27T)
3rd - 1.00:1 (25T:25T)
Input ratio - 3.00:1 (14T:42T)
No Reverse.
This transmission has all cut-steel heat-treated gears like the ones in the 820 transaxle. It also has the ball bearings on both ends of the output shaft, as shown in Photo 2, as well as the dual-output fine-splined PTO shafts (36 splines, 5/8" OD [0.623"], 9/16" [0.562"] long) with snap-ring grooves to hold the sprocket(s) on.
It has the keyed 5/8" x 1-3/16" input shaft and the short shift shaft as shown. Input-shaft Woodruff key and snap ring are included. Keyed hub length between snap rings is 1.0".
The yellow plug on top of the transmission in Photo 6 covers the threaded neutral-safety switch hole; it is a push-in plug and will have a threaded, O-ring-sealed plug when shipped.
A copy of the mounting-bolt pattern drawing will be included with the transmission so you can properly locate the transmission on your mower in relation to the other driveline components.
Being a dedicated racing transmission, there is no warranty on this unit, as specified on the Peerless Instruction Sheet included with the transmission (Last Photo). These also come "dry" with no oil or gear lube, so you can add whatever lubricant you prefer prior to running.
No Sales Tax if sold to a buyer outside the state of Missouri. Missouri buyers must pay the rural Bates County rate of 5.225%.
FEEDBACK: Our Feedback is 100%, which is good. The latest Feedback, however, is in December of 2011, which may raise questions. The reason for this is because we had to drop PayPal as an Approved Payment Method in our Store due to eCrater’s restrictions, and the only way Feedback can be left is if we show PayPal as an Approved Payment Method and the Buyer pays with PayPal through the eCrater Checkout.
